In 1993, he released the Voice of Jamaica, his major label debut, and made a massive breakthrough into the Billboard 200 and the Reggae chart, peaking at number 6. In 2010, Banton’s album, Before the Dawn won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album.
Stephen Marley is a multi Grammy winning artist who has done exemplary work as a music producer, songwriter, and as a solo artist. He first made waves in the music scene when he joined his brother’s band Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers. He also produced music for many major artists, including songs for his half brother Damian Marley. In 2007, Marley released his debut album, Mind Control, a breakthrough album that peaked at number 1 on Billboard’s Reggae chart. Marley released a total of four number 1 reggae charting albums.
