Well good news - the Connecticut Pizza and Brew Fest is back again, and we’re ready to welcome you again to the Hartford Amphitheater!
On Sunday July 20th, catch us right here at Hartford HealthCare as the 3rd annual Pizza and Brew fest returns to Bridgeport for a weekend of fun, music, workshops, and loads of drunk memories.
Tickets for the night are on sale NOW and starting at $18 for the day party! And you’ll want to make sure to bring a few friends too when you come through. Grab your besties, your lovers, and your empty stomachs! We can’t wait to see you all day long!
Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater is a beautiful and breathtaking venue located in the center of Bridgeport Connecticut that hosts eclectic and amazing music and special events for the city and for all the enjoyers of live experiences throughout the state. And The Connecticut Pizza and Brew Fest is no different - now in its third year, the festival founded by Frank Zabski and Kevin Begley in 2023 envisioned creating the adult version of “A Big Pizza Party” for the community and all the brew lovers in the city. And it worked like a charm - local craft beer tastings, dough throwing contests, and educational pizza panels became the norm. The festival has expanded massively - they brought double the brew houses and triple the pizza vendors last year, and also had live music from local bands Shameless and The Brat Pack. Now, with VIP experiences and family friendly vibes all day long - the small pizza party has grown into a huge festival for the city, and we’re so excited to see what the next iteration brings for us all.
Fox 51 recently caught up with creators Kevin Begleyand Frank Zabiski to talk all about the festival and ask him some of the questions we’ve been dying to know - like what inspired his festival, how the come up has been, and of course : deep dish or thin crust. “We have over 25 pizza vendors - and it’s all you can eat pizza for VIP ticket holders for 1 HOUR if you get a pass -, craft breweries, two live bands, lots of fun activities - if you love pizza and live in connecticut, it’s the only place to be on Sunday July 20th,” Frank said. “We have seltzers and non alcoholic beers too! During our first year we got a lot of feedback to have more breweries to go along with all the amazing pizza - so that’s what we did, and it’s been amazing to see the turnout grow year by year. All the Connecticut pizza and brew trucks, it’s awesome - and all under the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater right in bridgeport.”
