Making the traditional costumed parody shows look like your kid's 11th birthday party, “Weird Al” Yankovic is coming to Bridgeport for his Bigger & Weirder 2026 Tour at Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater on Tuesday 28th July 2026. Yup, an all singing, all dancing night featuring Weird Al's biggest, most popular parodies and original songs and ever frequent costume changes and all on the big screen plus, the 7-foot singing clown, Puddles Pity Party!
From "Smells Like Nirvana" to "White & Nerdy," your night is going to be a "Fat" "Amish Paradise," so do you "Dare to Be Stupid" and come along for a show where "Everything You Know Is Wrong"! Yeah, this is really going to be that weird!
Smash the 'Buy Tickets' button, this is the second year running for the Bigger & Weirder Tour, and yes, it's both bigger and weirder than last year. No, nobody knows just how long Al can keep this up, so get tickets while you still can!
Yes, it really did get both, BIGGER, and WeIrDeR! Adding almost 90 cities to the tour for 2026, Weird Al Yankovic has "super-sized the comedy-rock spectacle," because along with his 'normal' 4-piece backing band... he's bringing another 4 members on tour, creating an eight-piece ensemble for a "Bigger & Weirder" sound while also building on the extravagant stage show, comedy, and theatrics. Puddles Pity Party will join "Weird Al" for the entire North American tour.
Four time Grammy Award winner, Weird Al, has built the most incredible career out of parody. And, unusually, made into even more satire with the 2022 biopic, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, starring Daniel Radcliffe.
An early mainstream hit was for Michael Jackson's "Beat It," which Al made into "Eat It," which he then followed with "Fat," A parody of Michael Jackson's "Bad." In the 90s he came back with "Smells Like Nirvana" a parody of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit," and the insane, "Amish Paradise" from Coolio's "Gangsta's Paradise."
The almost 7-foot tall clown, Puddles, aka Michael Geier, former lead of the band Kingsized, hits the stage in the most unusual way. Performing as a completely silent Pierrot white face clown, who then bursts into song! A rich, powerful baritone voice, that has resulted in the nickname, "the sad clown with the golden voice." He was a contestant on Season 12 of the reality competition America’s Got Talent, getting as far as the quarter-finals.
located directly on the bank of the Long Island Sound in downtown Bridgeport, Connecticut, the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater opened in 2021 and has a capacity of around 5,700. If you are feeling flush enough, book the headlining suite, a luxury experience featuring a private chef working away in a gourmet kitchen. For the rest of us, we'll have to make do with Two Roads Brewery or Micalizzi's Ices.
