It’s finally here y’all. This season, us here at the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater are THRILLED  to welcome the very first ever Mooooncake Fest to Bridgeport this October 11th and 12th — a massive, two-day celebration of Asian food, music, and cultural fun that’s ready to make history in Connecticut. As the festival makes its inaugural debut this fall, we’re getting ready for a jam-packed weekend featuring over 90 food vendors, interactive workshops, live performances, and the kind of full moon vibes that can only come from a community gathering that knows how to do it right.

The goal of Mooooncake Fest’s debut weekend? To bring the flavors, stories, sounds, and traditions of the Mid-Autumn Festival into one colorful, delicious, and immersive weekend. Inspired by centuries-old moon celebrations across China, Vietnam, Korea, and beyond, this new take on the tradition is rooted in the idea that food connects people, and stories bring communities together. Lanterns will light up the amphitheater, music will ring out across the waterfront, and every dish—from dumplings to mooncakes to sizzling skewers — will tell a story of heritage and home. And yes, everything at the food stalls will be priced under $30, so you can snack your way across the continent without breaking the bank.

The lineup is stacked with surprises — from martial arts showcases and lion dances, to K-pop-inspired live performances, to kid-friendly zones with paper lantern crafts and calligraphy stations. And because it’s all happening at one of the most beautifully built open-air venues in the region, you’ll be celebrating under the stars with a full belly and a full heart.
